Tavascan is a small mountain village located in the Catalan Pyrenees
in the region of Pallars Sobirà, located at the northernmost end
of the region, it borders the Valley of Cardós, between Andorra and the Val d’Aran
and just a few kilometres from the border with France.
Near the Aiguestortes National Park and San Maurici, Tavascan is noted for its
natural environment, its fauna and flora, as well as the wide variety of cultural heritage,
like its medieval-born bridge or the parish church of San Bartomeu.
The Tavascan Valley is the starting point for infinite routes that drive us
in places as emblematic as the Boavi Forest or Certescan, the largest glacial lake
of the Pyrenees. In addition, we find the Bordes de Noarre, which they offer
the best conservation status of the High Pyrenees Natural Park.
